As head of the organization, Martijn van Rheenen, who ownes a property in Spain himself, knows the problem inside out. He Recently rescued his 2 year old son from drowning after he fell in the pool. After being unsuccessful in finding the right pool safety products and learning about the lack of action taken by the government, he decided something had to be done about child safety in Spain. Benefiting in a nationwide media campaign with as the main goal: providing information and products to improve swimming pool safety for children and lowering the number of swimming pool related accidental deaths throughout Spain.

 Martijn van Rheenen: “Our mission is to dramatically improve pool safety throughout Spain by providing information and offer the best products on the market. This national campaign should get the attention of pool owners, parents and national and local governments.
They need to realize the danger of water. When a child drowns, you will not hear a sound. It can be under the surface in a couple of seconds. We cannot stress enough the importance of the right safety products.” |
