Information
Swimming pool drownings are the number one cause of death amongst young children in Spain and many other warm climate countries. Even though parents often think they are always paying attention, the smallest distraction can take your eyes of your child for just a couple of seconds. Just enough time for the child to fall into the water, go under and drown without even making a sound. Even if you manage to get your child out before he/she drowns, the consequence of a near drowning can be permanent brain damage. And what happens when your child is at someone else’s home and you are not there to supervise?
